Back in 2007 I was asked to come up with a character and a 30 sec. music video (below) for a song called the “Gummy Bear Song”, composed by Christian Schneider.
The bear ended up being green, slightly overweight with a half-chewed ear and orange underpants of the old-fashioned Y-Front variety, and little did I know that he would go on to become an internet phenomenon with over two Billion(!) views online.
The green bear with orange underpants has since been used for many other music videos and a Christmas special. He has appeared on television shows, been used in commercials, parodied in many ways including South American political satire, fan-videos and much, much more.
There has even been a carnival with hundreds of kids dressed up as him on the streets of Athens, Greece:

In 2016 Gummy got his own series “The Gummy Bear Show” about his antics and adventures with friends Harry the Chameleon and Kala the Cat. Take a look at some episodes below on the Gummybear Youtube channel.
